**All time stamps are in EST, NOT GMT**
ac-9 data: The sampling rate for the ac-9s was once per hour. Column format for *.txt files are located in the
header. Units for a, b, and c are 1/m. The following corrections have been made to the ac-9 data:
1) Scattering correction, e.g., a(412)=a(412)-0.14*(b(412)).
2) a(715) has been subtracted from all wavelengths.
NOTE: NO salinity or temperature correction has been applied to these data.
ADCP data: The ADCP sampled once per minute at bin depths every meter between 5 and 19 m.
Column format for the *.txt files is as follows:
(1) Time
(2-16) u-velocity at bin depths every meter from 5 m to 19 m.
(17-31) v-velocity at bin depths every meter from 5 m to 19 m.
Units for u and v velocity is cm/s. Note: The magnetic variation for the ADCP data correction for The all ADCP data were corrected with -13 degree
magnetic variation.
Beam c data: Beam c data were sampled once per minute.
Column formats for the *.txt files are located in the header. The wavelength for the transmissometer is 660 nm.
Units for the beam c data is 1/m. Beam c data were calibrated against c(650) data from the ac-9 (r2s were above 0.9).
Fluorometer data: Fluorometer data were sampled once per minute.
Column formats for *.txt files are located in the header. Units for chlorophyll-a data are ug/l.
Chlorophyll-a was derived from fluorescence using factory calibrations and compared with
chlorophyll-a determined from ac-9 data using the following relationship derived from Shifrin [1988]:
1) a*sp(676)=2.46E-02
2) a(chl)=a(676)-[a(650)+a(715)]/2
3) chl-a=a(chl)/a*sp(676)
Hydroscat-6 data: No Hydroscat-6 data are available for deployment 1. See deployment 1 data report for details.
The sampling rate of the Hydroscat-6 was once every two hours for deployment 2.
Column format for the *.txt file is located in the header. These data were processed using the program provided by HOBI Labs.
No corrections were appplied to these data.
Hyperspectral data: The sampling rate for the Hyperspectrals was once per hour between 6 am and 6 pm, EST.
Column format for *.txt files are located in the header with time and 123 wavelengths. Unit for Ed is uW/cm^2/nm.
Unit for Lu is uW/cm^2/nm/sr. We had problems with the internal shutter system of the MiniSpecs. Therefore, there are
missing data points throughout the time series, particularly for Ed(0+). These missing data points are ZEROES in the data
files.
PAR data: PAR data were sampled eight times per hour. Column format for *.txt files are located in the header.
Units for PAR is uE/m^2/s.
SBE-39 data: SBE-39 temperature data were sampled once per minute.
Column formats for the *.txt files are located in the header. Units for temperature is degC.
Seacat and Microcat data: Seacats and Microcats sampled once per minute.
Column formats for the *.txt files are located in the header. Units for temperature is degC.
Units for salinity is psu
Tidbit data: Tidbit data were sampled once every five minutes,
except the tb_tripod (temp24a; found in deployment 2), which sampled once every 10 minutes.
Column formats for the *.txt files are located in the header. Units for temperature is degC.
TSKA data: TSKA data were sampled once every two minutes. Column formats for the *.txt files are located in the header.
Units for temperature is degC.
