Peso Prospero Pooper's "Growth Chart", Weeks 0-3

Pup Weight This plot shows the growth progress (weight gain) for each of Penny's 12 puppies. Each pup is represented by a different color, with the mean in black. They are listed in the order in which they were born. The names of the pups on the plot were temporary, after the McNeil family. This is what the pups are named now, as far as we know.
Jeannie = Cloe, Laurie = LoLo, Lainie = LuLu Pooper, Peggy = Honey, Mark = Dash, Bart = ?, Gary = Porter P. Pooper, Joe = Boozer, Kathy = Paisley Peasblossom Pooper, Ross = Peso Prospero Pooper, Johnny = Chuck, and Paul = Max.

Top Panel: A time series of the absolute weight of each puppy in ounces. Pups were weighed every other day starting on their birthday, 19 December 2004, and continuing through 3 weeks of age, 10 January 2005. Each pup was weighed just after their morning feeding. The values on the right represent each puppy's weight on 10 January 2005, the day we were evacuated from our home in La Conchita due to the mudslide.

Bottom Panel: The computed growth rate of each puppy, in ounces per day. Growth rate = (Change in weight between weigh-ins) / (Time between weigh-ins).

Note that Penny developed a uterine infection on 4 January 2005 and it affected the growth of her puppies.

Below is a table showing each pups' weight (in ounces), taken every other day between 19 December 2004 and 10 January 2005.
